Just switched some of my sites to PHP 7.4. 10 minutes later I was thrown out from WordPress and it was IMPOSSIBLE to log in again. 

Switched back to PHP 7.3 and problem solved!

Had a friend try the same and he couldn't log in either with PHP7.4.

HA HA!! You are a lifesaver man!!

7.4 makes tons of things stop working :-)
