This is one of the best ways to gain traffic. Promoting quality and original content is the driving force to getting proper traffic, or showing Google or any other search engine that you care to promote quality content rather than anything else that may be weak or similar to other content.

True true. Blogging about relevant topics will actually generate real traffic. Of course the best way is to bring up topics that people don't fully know, so you the site owner can possibly teach them. Just a thought.
