Hi guys. I was wondering, how long does it take to set up a wordpress site? I am considering starting my first wordpress site very soon here and I was wondering if it's a fast process or a slow process? Any info would be great.
It only takes 10-15 minutes to download and install WordPress. Installing basic plugins for spam handling, SEO, Analytics etc. takes ½ - 1 hour. Finding a template kan take some time but only 5 minutes to install it and then a few hours to get to know it.
From there you just put text and images up and time consumption depends on how big the site is, from a few hours to 50.
It shouldn't take you that much time. If you're new at it, maybe it will take you a while (an hour or so) but when you get into it it will take you a lot less time.
I think you can set up a good looking WP site in about 1-2 hours max.
