blocking without unfriending?

In the privacy settings you can select which of your lists can see your content. You can also block albums for specific users.

This here. I have blocked a lot of my family & friends from seeing some of my content. The reason why, is because I don't want them to see what I post sometimes. Also, I don't like talking to some of my friends or family, so I exclude them from my messenger since I fear it'll be awkward talking to some.

That's just me though.
