These days, it's hard to get twitter followers, at least legitimate ones who actually talk to you. In order to truly get real followers, you need to be real yourself. Just talk to people, talk about things you're into, anything you're into. This builds a following of people who have same tastes as you. When you use a service like twiends to get followers, those followers tend to be fake and or not interested in getting to know you.

So it's simple, talk to people, as many people as you can. Follow people as well because there's a 50/50 chance that person will follow you right back.

It's a free blog from blogspot, and I haven't updated it in many months. I was hoping to make a completely new blog dedicated to different media such as gaming, movies, tv, and music. So I would like to hear your opinions on the site before I do that. I plan to take out the background and replace it with something else, something more practical. I also plan to change the banner of course.

Also, is it possible to change the link? I don't think fotcfolkyou will cut it if I want to make a blog for just about everything.

I have not yet got into a joint venture, but I would love to one of these days, yet I know that there are some things you need to look out for and I hope these tips are useful.

1. Go in with someone you trust
2. Don't rush it, brainstorm ideas
3. Don't go into a joint venture with someone you do not know well.
4. Look up the niche your joint venture is for and see if it's open or not.
5. Know the business is something you can handle

Do you guys know of any promising keyword researching programs/sites I should check out? I am thinking about creating a gaming/movie/tv/music site and I need a tool that'll help me find the best keywords around. Is there anything like that out there?

I read somewhere that rank wasn't that important, that even someone who's at #1 in a certain niche, doesn't mean they'll have more traffic than you or anyone else. Rank on Google and page rank are different though. Page rank is your rating of your page while rank on google is the rank within Google.

Anyways, Page rank is just a number and I heard that it doesn't mean someone's site is going to be better or worse than another.

Hi guys. I am really interested in setting up a simple wordpress site, just to get used to things and learn how it all works. I used to run a blogspot blog a while ago and it was simple, and easy to set up. Is wordpress fairly simple to set up as well? I asking about the paid for version of wordpress.

Also, how much does it cost to have one wordpress site?

Where do you outsource your work? For me I have not really ever outsourced any of my work, I have considered it, but I never did it. Where do you get your outsource work done? Do you get work done from people overseas? Or do you still outsource work here?

For those of you here who do freelance, what kind of work do you do? If can be anything that's beneficial to websites, forums, blogs, etc. I usually do some writing freelance work, but that's about it. I'm considering designing simple sites for people soon, just not sure if people are going to pay for simple sites, but I guess I'll find out soon enough.

What is your method of getting free traffic? For me it's all about using social media, social networking, word of mouth and any other free method I can do. I've done some word of mouth along with using social media such as twitter, facebook, Google+ and so on.

I also utilize the likes of social bookmarking sites like StumbleUpon and Digg. Which I recommend everyone to try using.

Has anyone here used Amazon Associates on their sites? I've used it in the past with my old blog and I did make a little bit of spending money from it, but I never was able to get much money from it. I can blame that on me not putting much effort into getting my site out there.

For my future site, I plan to have an Amazon Associates on there at some point.
